I wanted to write to thank you for the fine service you have provided and to tell you how pleased I am with the items I have purchased from your site. It's great to see a Canadian supplier of quality guitar goodies. I have made four purchases : The Artec SE-70B 70's Drive Blender,Artec RSV-3 Resovibe, the Power Wire 0db effects cable, and the Mars Real Sound Manipulator. 

The Power Wire  from R&M Tone Tech was a real surprise. I have used powered circuits installed in my guitars to optimize signal integrity and to eliminate the problem of losing top end when turning down the volume control, but the Power Wire really blew me away. Plugged straight into a nice tube amp the amp in the cord seems to widen the signal spectrum. It just sounds like you are getting more guitar out of your guitar. The attack is crisp and the notes have an urgency to them that makes you want to play better. 

We got talking about bypass loop controllers and you suggested the Real Sound Mars Manipulator which was not even up on your site yet. I had looked a several other loop controllers (Voodoo Labs, Carl Martin) but was always scared off because of the price.  At about half the cost of some of the other controllers, the Manipulator seemed like a no-brainer. It's true bypass, pop-free, programmable and can power your pedals. For a guy like me running 8 pedals and it was just what I needed. Cam, thanks for hippin' me to this unit. I have no doubt I'll be back to Gear Alley for more essentials. (Yeah, like any of this is essential. But, isn't that what makes it so much fun?)

I have ordered a number of things from Gear Alley so far including the and have been blown away by their speedy delivery and the quality of the items I ordered.

I ordered the Mars Twin Tube overdrive and am blown away by the incredibly rich, thick tone that this pedal produces! A friend of mine was eyeing a similar boutique pedal that retails for $400 USD, but tried out my Twin Tube and was so blown away by the tone that he ordered one of these instead.

I recently purchased the Artec Resovibe tremolo pedal and am using it instead of my vintage 60's Fender Vibrochamp. It produces more, varied tones than my champ and is virtually bullet-proof! These pedals are boutique quality at pawn shop prices!

I am also very pleased with the hardiness and look of my new Bullet cables! Not only do these cables sound great, they turn heads! Thanks again!

The ModTone Clean Boost has good packaging and it also has a good boost “range” which I liked. It does add some colour to the sound however due to the bass/treble control but I personally did not find this to be a bad thing. For lead solos it is actually a benefit to me as it makes it jump out a lot more tonally as well as volume wise, also kind of cool to have tonal contrast as it sound like it could be a different guitar player. I did not experience any break up either other than the natural Marshall kick when I cranked up my amp a little more. Playing with the tone control I got a sound I was comfortable with the boost.

The Power Wire - There is quite a difference in the guitar cord from my regular ones hanging around my studio. Especially when you use this pre-amped cable to record with as there is a lot more tonal quality, brightness, overall range and dynamics. The guitar really seemed to improve sound wise to me.  As well, When I turned my Marshall up to my normal volume level, I could hear the difference. There is not quite as much of a noticeable tonal difference when I used a lot of gain (distortion) on the Marshall however. The gain disguises everything. However playing clean there is a world of difference.

Hello, The Mars Analog Delay I bought arrived today and I'm totally thrilled with it. I play in stereo with 2 amps and only like a small amount of delay to create a large room effect. This does it perfectly. Its difficult to get the sound I want from a digital delay with all the bells and whistles. Thanks very much.
